Commercial Security in Scottsdale, Arizona

International Protective Service, Inc. (IPS) can provide the highest level of private security—security provided by officers licensed to use lethal force, if necessary, to protect lives and property on your commercial premises.

Armed Guard Qualifications

Armed guards at IPS hold a current Arizona armed guard license, and to earn that credential, our officers must:

  • Complete our 46-hour in-house training program that instructs officers about the appropriate use of force, legal and liability issues, firearms handling and more
  • Complete 40-68 hours of supervised field training with an experienced armed officer

To ensure our armed officers are always field-ready, they also:

  • Receive up to 40 hours of advanced training each quarter
  • Receive daily and weekly firearms training

These criteria are on top of IPS’ rigorous six-step hiring process and officers’ previous experience in law enforcement, military or private security.
